I don't remember language like that in the fairy tales when I was a kid. &lt;a href='http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Slut' rel="nofollow"&gt;Wikipedia&lt;/a&gt; says one old meaning was "kitchen maid or drudge" although the promiscuous woman definition is also pretty old.</description>
