		<description>Yeah I liked this one too. It does seem similar to Shogun now that you mention it. Shea's All Things Are Light ended up being pretty good too (even though I was a bit skeptical of the whole troubadour thing at the start).</description>

		<description>Wow, I read this book when it first came out; enjoyed it as much as I did Shogun and Eric van Lustbader's Ninja.

This was the book that first opened my eyes to the existence of the many orders of warrior monks / priests
in ancient cultures and the power and influence they held.</description>
